Prepare your Car

Preparation

• Bring your street driving licence
• Bring helmets for each occupant in the car.
• Car
  • Cooling system in good condition?
  • Brake pads renewed/in good condition? We recommend upgrading to a sport/race pad for the event.
  • Change the brake fluid – high temperature race fluid is highly recommended.
  • No oil or water leaks? Check it carefully.
  • Tyres checked for pressure and general condition?
  • Seats and belts/harnesses are secure and in good condition?
  • Exhaust – no leaks, check rubber mountings in good condition?
• Video
  • Mounts fixed securely inside car – fixed mounts preferred.
  • External mounts (where authorised) must be tethered to a secure point on the car.
  • All camera mounts must be checked by staff before allowed on track. If we say we’re not happy with your installation, you must change it.
  • NO HANDHELD VIDEO/MOBILE PHONES etc.
• Supplies
  • Spare brake pads?
  • Spare auxiliary drive/fan belt?
  • Basic tools/wheel wrench/tyre pressure gauge.
  • Gaffa/gorilla tape – if you can’t fix it with gorilla tape you can’t fix it.
  • Tie wraps – will fix most things.
• Clothing
  • No bare arms/legs on track.
  • Appropriate driving footwear – no crocs.
