The Rules

Here's How We Do Things

IMPORTANT

    • Experienced track drivers only – no novices please.
    • These social events are for drivers who wish to improve their knowledge of the Nordschleife and who want to improve their driving skills. These events ARE NOT for attempting maximum speeds or setting lap times.
    • ‘Super Street Series’ events. We do not allow race cars or pure track cars on these type of events. Our definition of street legal is a car that is capable of being driven legally on the road. It will need to have a chassis number and registration and be capable of passing an MOT/TüV (or local equivalent) inspection. The car MUST be on street legal tyres (NO slicks). We expect to see number/registration plates on all vehicles.
    • ‘Pro Track Series’ Street cars, race cars and track cars all OK together on track on these events.
    • There is NO requirement for insurance, on our track days. As this is a ‘UK rules’ event there is no third party liability between participants. Each participant is only liable for their own damages. CLICK HERE for more information
    • No VLN race teams (unless with prior agreement).
    • Slick tyres – only on our ‘Pro Track Series’ events, AND the car MUST have a roll cage.
    • Street legal semi slicks or normal street tyres only on our ‘Super Street Series’ events.
    • No open wheel cars/Formula style cars.
    • The minimum engine capacity for cars on our events is 1200cc. No Citroen C1s, Aygos, 107s, Ka or similar type cars.
    • Seatbelts are required as a minimum.
    • Strictly No timing. Click here for further information.
    • 128db static noise limit.
    • Overtaking on the LEFT SIDE ONLY – (Unless on a Ringmeisters ‘Pro Track’ event).
    • No overtaking into corners or around corners.
    • No overtaking without clear consent AND signal AND invitation from the car in front.
    • 150 car track limit.
    • Only 2 people in a car.
    • Helmets to appropriate safety standards for car use.
    • Helmets must be worn and securely fastened.
    • Seatbelts or Harnesses must be worn at all times on track.
  • No handheld video recording equipment.
  • No loose items in the cabin.
